IM IGNITED
A post that really got me thinking was Gladys’ question. Her question was “why do girls get dress coded more that guys do?” I agree with it so much because I’ve been dress coded before for wearing a shirt with straps on it (literally just showing my SHOULDERS) while I was on my way to the bathroom and I got stopped by security and he made me go all the way back to my classroom to get a jacket to wear over it. The reason I took off my jacket was because it was pretty hot that day and I didn’t check the weather in the morning so I wore a big jacket. Boys are at rally’s shirtless just like Gladys said & they don’t get told anything. I feel like it all just has to do with how a person looks & the security guards get to pick who to get in trouble and who they don’t get in trouble.

ARGUE THIS
- You can have something clean and clear
- syllogism - A form of of reasoning in which a conclusion is drawn
- Most users didn’t want to use program expertise
- Apple computers have it easy, take it out the box and it’s ready
- Major premise
- Minor premise
- Conclusion premises
- No such thing as his truth or her truth
- Trusty is factually verifiable reality, things you can verify in the word
- Deductive reasoning -
- Is there life after death, everyone dies, no one knows what happens afterwards
- My big question is “If you cut your hair and donate it & the person that gets it commits a crime, does your dna get involved or not?” My major premise is
Down the rabbit hole
This story is about how Steinbeck’s closets friends turned his back on him when he needed them the most. Especially is friend George, he started talking very badly about Steinbeck which after a period of time lead Steinbeck to write George a letter dealing for an answer on why he turned his back on him. Steinbeck came to the conclusion that his friend was envious and jealous of him and his happiness, he later wrote in the letter that he wishes god finds George a better release for his unhappiness.

Self reliance NOTES
• People dont know what they’re capable of until they try it
• We decide what we put our efforts and attention to
• Relaxation sometimes doesn’t relax us
• We’re aware of how we’re seen unlike 5 year olds
• Telling your story or listening to others stories is a good thing
• Every politician owes someone something
• We know what we believe in but we don’t like to say it out loud
• Society is a joint-stock company

First impression: On self reliance
The impression that I had was that people are afraid to speak their minds more than half the time. They think they might be wrong and they’re too afraid to be wrong not knowing that being wrong sometimes is okay. If they were to be wrong it gives them an opportunity to learn something know so they won’t make that mistake again. Sometimes what they’re about to say could be what someone else is afraid to say meaning some might have the same thoughts but they’re also afraid to speak up. You could possibly be answering someone else’s question, if you were to speak up.

THE MUSEUM IS THE MESSAGE
I will select the appropriate channels for my communication depending on who I’m talking with & how I’m talking with them.

I CARE ABOUT YOUR UNDERSTANDING
Today I am writing with the intention of being understood. How do you make a great team? My volleyball team needs some help. We bond, we talk, we have each other’s backs, but when it comes to playing games half of them give up and break down. They stay stuck on one bad play and start to think that they messed up everything and as soon as that happens our whole team just breaks. Seeing only about 5 players out of 11 really try to win and give their best while the rest are just like “ehh we're losing anyway” SUCKS. Not the first time it’s happened either.
I AINT GOT TIME FOR THIS
One big habit that I have is playing volleyball even when I don’t have practice or when I’m off season. My routine after school everyday is if we have practice I change, warm up, stretch, Hit, pass, hit, pass & scrimmage at the end. When I’m off season it’s the same thing, change, stretch, warmup, and start practicing so I can improve. This habit helps be a lot because I want to play in collage or even in a university. Volleyball is my passion and I want to keep playing forever.

The earth on turtles back
My first impression of “the earth on turtles back” was that it was a myth & it uses personification. This myth was really good to read I feel like the animals made it very interesting.

COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES OF A HACKER
The mentor uses diction in “conscience of a hacker” because he uses illiterate words and the words he puts in his essay wants us, the audience to read more about it. The syntax is the phrase “they’re all alike” which makes it seem like an older person is telling that line meaning all kids are the same. Finally I think the tone is angry because everyone thinks he did something wrong but there are way more worse things in the world.

CONSEQUENCE OF A HACKER
Yooooo this article was so interesting. I loved how it was so mysterious and calm at the same time. I usually get bored of reading articles but this one just made me want to read more. I want to know more about the mentor, how was his life in jail or what did he hack to get in so much trouble. I won’t stop until I find out what he did!!!

Welcome to my Blog ✨
Hey this is Dayana. This blog is going to be such a great new experience for many of us. In my blog I will be allowed to post what I feel and also my reasonings for things we do in class. This blog will be memorable because it’s the first one I’ve done in my 3 years of high school right now. I can’t wait to see this whole blog come together at the very end.
